This is something that happens to all Hondas.
The Pedal buttons fail, usually at the worst time ( Is there a good time ? )
When the clutch button fails, the car won't start.
The safety button is connected to the clutch pedal, only allowing the car to start when the clutch pedal is fully pressed down.
The S2000 Safety Start switch is in the hardest location to reach
This is designed to install with no tools on the side of the road to get you home.
Some can lay under the dash to install the OEM Pedal buttons, some remove the pedal.
This slides into place with one hand, you do need to watch the instructional video to see the tips.
Once installed the S2000 will start and run for plenty of time until you can install the OEM Buttons.
This is intended to be a temporary fix but will last for some time,
This is made from TPU 90A durameter ( Thermoplastic Polyurethane )
This solution is much faster and safer than jumping the start switch to bypass it's intended use.
Keep this in the glove box for a rainy day. Or.. a non rainy day when your clutch buttons fails.
