The cabin filter on the S2000 isn't in the convenient spot, and not easy to change.
 
We see so many S2000 that have never had a cabin filter change.
 
Some 20+ years old, the filter can get really bad.
 
Honda recommend every 15,000 - 20,000 miles or once a year.
